Setting up your own FTP Server using Filezilla Server (Windows Based)


1. Open Google Chrome or other browsers
2. Search for File Zilla Server
3. Click on the first result in google search engine





















4.Download Filezilla Server



















5. Run the Filezilla Installer downloaded



















6. In the Startup settings leave it default and port 14147




















7. You will see the Filezilla Server icon in the lower right of your taskbar
















8. Connect to Server
9. Once Logged in, we need to create a user for your ftp server
10. Click Edit, then select Users














11. Click Add














12. Enter the username you want to add and click OK














13. Optional: Choose a password for that user
14. Click Shared Folders page, and click Add on shared folders












15. Browse and select the directory you want to add and visible for the user




16. Set Permissions on Files and Directory and click Ok
Note: In my example i will give all the permission in the user
















17. To try if our ftp server is working, type in your browser ftp://127.0.0.1










18. Enter the  username and password(if you specified) you created

















Congrats! You have now a working Filezilla FTP Server.

Note: If You want to broadcast your server on the internet, you should open your router's port 21 via Port Forwarding/Virtual Server.check your router's manual.
