Retrieve Files and remove virus from an infected USB Drive

1. Download and Install Attribute Changer.
2. Open USB Drive from the left side of windows explorer.

(If you do this, it will trigger the autorun.inf, and it will activate and run the virus)


(Opening USB drive this way, will not trigger the autorun.inf, and will not activate the virus)
3. After opening the USB Drive press ALT + T and select Folder options

4. Click View, Select "Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives", Uncheck "Hide protected operating system files(Recommended)"

5.Delete the Files inside the Red Box.

6. The virus has been removed, Now we will restore our files.
7. Right Click the file shown below and click change attribute.

7. Uncheck Hidden and System, click Apply and click OK.

8. Safety remove the USB drive then plug it again.
